DC LEGENDS (DCL) is dedicated to the vast and exciting Multiverse of DC Comics. We are home to tales of adventure, action, suspense... tales that only the DC Universe can offer! The DCL Universe diverges from the real DC Universe (i.e. the comics) after the Kingdom specials (circa February 1999).

Executive Editor: Derrick Ferguson

DC Legends is a site for fans of all ages who share a common love for the universe of DC Comics. No matter the period... Golden Age, Silver Age, Pre-Crisis, Post-Crisis, Elseworlds, Bronze Age stories... all of these stories are welcomed at DCL.

If you like what you see here, then stop by the DCL Mailing List. The list is home to DCL's writers and readers alike. Here's your chance to let the various authors know what you thought of their stories, or to share your thoughts about the DC Universe in general.

The DC LEGENDS Fanfic Project was established on April 21st, 1999.

ISSUE #10: "Where monsters dwell..."

Slaughter Swamp is one of the most inhospitable tracts of marshland in the United States. Long stretches of muddy ground, that in an instant turn into wet sink holes. Gnarled, skeletal trees stretch up crooked branches to create a canopy that let in little sunlight.

The very look of the swamp makes it all too clear why it has generated so many local legends of supernatural evil and creatures lurking within its depths.

Mixed in with the sounds of local wildlife was the faint hum of machinery, as the JSA hovercraft skims across the surface of the swamp. Its round shape, reminding Wildcat of a hot tub. A upholstered bench ran around the inner wall with the control console in the center. Wildcat sighed and scratched his shoulder as he watched the bleak scenery roll by.

ISSUE #9: "Odds and Ends"

Previously: The damaged body of the Red Tornado sent half the team back through a time rift to ancient Egypt. The rest of the JSA went on a dimensional scavenger hunt, trying to find the missing Thunderbolt.
Both teams succeeded in their tasks, but there are still a few loose ends to deal with..

Three days ago...
The Red Tornado stood on the rooftop, looking out over the city. His cape fluttered in a breeze not of his making. He was a unique creature. A robotic shell containing the essence of a powerful elemental air being. A mix of science and magic.

ISSUE #8: "To Infinity and Beyond!"

For those just joining us: While moving into their new HQ, the JSA discovered the battered, inoperative body of the android hero, the Red Tornado and a time rift, in one of the basement storage rooms. Flash, Power Girl and Hourman went through the rift and ended up in ancient Egypt. Meanwhile, Green Lantern, Hawkman and Hawkgirl traveled to the mystic tower  of the missing Doctor Fate, hoping to find a way to find the equally missing Thunderbolt and save the life of Kiku Thunder...

ISSUE #2: "Beyond Enemy Lines – Part Two"

Oberleutnant Theodor Steiner and myself, Flying Officer Thomas "Tommy Gun" MacPherson, walked for hours.  Our compasses were useless in this unusual place so we had no idea which direction we were heading toward. The dark ominous clouds blocked any sign of the sun which meant our trek was in an atmosphere of continual twilight.
