1. Animal/Plant Powers (Reptile): The Kogotugodu are a race of intelligent saurians who are the long lost descendants of the dinosaurs. All Kogotugodu share the following characteristics:
        a. Armour (Scaly Hide): ADR 66.
        b. Heightened Endurance A +10
        c. Natural Weaponry (Claws & Teeth): +2 to Hit, +4 Damage.
        d. Special (Poisoned Tail): +4 to hit in HTH combat. Kogotugodu excrete a nerve toxin (which they are immune to) along the ridges of their tails. On a successful carrier attack, the victim must make an Endurance save (d20) or else become disoriented (-2 on all attack/damage rolls). The effects of this poison is cumulative (if a person is hit three times and fails all three saving throws, then they would be at a -6 penalty). The poison lasts for 1 hour per dosage (i.e. per successful hit).
        e. Weakness (Diminished Senses): The subterranean realm of N'Takadu is illuminated by natural pockets of luminescent fungi (this fungi does not produce the same levels of light as on the surface). Kogotugodu suffer a -2 penalty on all attack rolls that involve line of sight/vision when in direct sunlight.
2. Heightened Intelligence A +14
3. Special Weapon: This mystical staff (+3 to Hit, HTH + 1d6) is known as K'r-K'jadok (which means "Soul Devourer"). It was crafted long ago by one of W'r-P'korut's ancestors. The staff represents a position of power among the Kogotugodu. K'r-K'jadok glows with an eerie black aura when its powers are used. The PR cost of its powers are drained from the holder of the staff. K'r-K'jadok has the following powers:
        a. Disintegration Ray: +3 to Hit (includes Training Bonuses), Range 15", 1d20+2 Damage (includes Training Bonuses), PR 2/shot.
        b. Devitalization Ray: +2 to Hit (includes Training Bonuses), Range 30", 3d10+2 Damage to Power only (includes Training Bonuses), PR 3/shot.
        c. Special (Soul Drain): Should a living creature be killed by the staff (not by its powers, but by ramming the staff into the victim's heart), then there is a chance that the staff will capture the victim's life essence. The victim must roll (on d100) under its original Power/2 or else become trapped. If trapped, then the character cannot be ressurrected or revived in any way. The victim is essentially lost forever.
4. Willpower (Type A): W'r-P'korut is exceptionally strong willed.

Knowledge Areas:  Kogotugodu Lore & Religion/Mysticism
Origin and Background: (Kogotugodu) W'r-P'korut (means "The Dragon in the Abyss" in his own language) is from the subterranean realm of N'Takadu (translation: "Heart of Primal Darkness"). N'Takadu is a lost world hidden deep in the bowels of the earth. The environment is eclectic with its lush jungles, volcanic heated streams and geysers, giant fungi forests, dinosaurs and even scattered tribes of primitive hominids. The dominant species, known as the Kogotugodu (named after their legendary first ancestor), evolved from saurian stock. They spend their time hunting the hominids for sport or warring with each other.
At least that was the case before W'r-P'korut rose to prominence within Kogotugodu society. He is considered to be a prophet among his people and with this obedience, he was able to unite the various tribes. W'r-P'korut preached of their racial superiority and their divine right to rule the planet that was theirs since the beginning of time.
W'r-P'korut learnt of the surface world when he was a youth. He was exploring the western cliffs, next to the Grand Fungi Forest, when he stumbled across an American research probe that had broken through the outer cavern's wall. The probe was damaged and inert, but W'r-P'korut recognized the danger that it represented to his society and world. He was determined to not let this happpen. He rallied his people and raised an army. He promised them that the surface world would be their hunting grounds. No mammal would dare raise their head to look at the glory that is the saurian race.
The first Kogotugodu invasion was a short one. They broke through the ground, at an isolated farm in Mexico, to find themselves on the surface during midday. The blazing sun blinded the saurians and they retreated back into the ground. When night came about, the saurians were more cautious as they explored the region. They took a few slaves of the locals and slaughtered a force of Mexican federales. W'r-P'korut and his saurian soldiers are still probing the surface world as they study and plan their invasion. They have several passages that lead to various points on the surface (not just in Mexico).
