Origin and Background: (American) Adrian Hudson wasn't always a furry bat-like freak as he is now. At one time, he was an ordinary teenager whose only worries where girls, acne, and the bullies at his local high school. One bully in particular, a brutish boy named Hogan, made Adrian's life a living hell. One night when Adrian was receiving another beating from Hogan, something snapped in his brain. It felt like an iron spike was being driven through his forehead. He screamed as he fell to the ground. Adrian was oblivious to the fact that Hogan had stopped his assault and was backing away from him in complete horror. Hogan couldn't believe his eyes. The scrawny brat that he took pleasure in tormenting had become a monster. He could feel his knees shake as the creature howled with bestial rage into the night. Then it turned on him. Adrian didn't know what he was doing. By the time he had regained his senses, a battered, gibbering Hogan laid at his feet in shredded clothes. Adrian didn't know what he had becomed, but what he did terrified him. He flew into the night not knowing what he had becomed, and that scared him the most. Adrian has since taken up residence in an abandoned church on the outskirts of Boston. He has since acclimatized himself to his condition and has taken the name of Beastling. |
