Origin and Background: (British) Dr. Geoff Jennings created his Thermal Suit as a means to protect the wearer from the harsh effects of a sub-zero environment. He had intended to use his research to explore Antarctica for potential mineral and/or energy resources, but instead he used his creation to protect others from a terrorist attack. It was his exploits against the terrorist organization known as the Murder Brigade that attracted the attention of the Justice Crusaders. They offered Jennings, now known as Hailstone, a position within their respected ranks and he quickly accepted. |
