Origin and Background: (American) RJ Cooke invented his teleportation technology while he was working for Sondergaard Industries. He tried an unscheduled test of the experimental teleportation chamber and quickly found himself tumbling down a hill in a Northern Ontario forest. By the time he landed at the bottom, he had found himself changed by the teleportation. Somehow his body had been infused with the fox that originally inhabited the spot where he materialized. It took several days for Sondergaard Industries to locate their missing scientist. Upon discovering RJ Cooke's transformation, they decided to train him in his new abilities. They had hoped to use him for their own corporate interests, but RJ had other ideas. He created his Teleportation Staff and escaped to freedom. He now calls himself Red Fox and his swashbuckling attitude has made him a hit with the media. |
