2. Heightened Senses: C.H.U.D.s have glow in the dark eyes that allow them to see in the dark as well as if it was daylight (no modifiers while in the dark). While in the dark, their chance to Detect Hidden and Danger are tripled.

3. Heightened Strength A +12

4. Mutant Power: C.H.U.D.s have been mutated by dangerously toxic radioactive waste and a result of this mutation allows their bodies to safely process this dangerous sludge. Should a C.H.U.D. bathe in this toxic waste, they heal their Healing Rate per phase spent in it.

Should this hazardous waste be applied to a non-C.H.U.D. human, then there is a chance that the human in question will either will mutate into a C.H.U.D. or else take damage from the toxic sludge. Roll an Endurance saving throw on percentage dice - should the character roll under his Endurance, then his transformation into a C.H.U.D. will occur over the course of 1d6+2 days (he will become less human and more C.H.U.D. like over the course of this period). Should the saving throw roll be over his Endurance, then he has taken damage from the toxic waste equal to the difference (for example, should a character with an End 12 roll 42 on his saving throw, he takes 34 points of damage and does not become a C.H.U.D.). Repeat the saving throw for each Phase spent in the toxic waste.

6. Weakness (Reduced Intelligence): -5 Int. The toxic waste that creates a C.H.U.D. also damages the brain's higher functions leaving only the base animalistic urge to hunt and feed.

Origin and Background: (Mutated Humans) C.H.U.D. are beings that were once human, but radioactive, chemical toxic waste has mutated them into hideous, flesh-eating creatures that prey on the homeless who live in the underground. Given the recent drop in the underground transient population, the creatures have resorted to coming to the surface through sewer manholes in order to feed. This toxic waste was labelled, "Contamination Hazard Urban Disposal."
