Atomic radiation, mutagenetic manipulation, mad scientist creations -- no matter the source of the mutation, these ants have increased to gigantic proportions. Once tiny ants have become monsters that stand twelve feet high, eighteen feet long and weigh just over eight hundred pounds. These giant ants can be broken down into three classifications: Worker Ant, Soldier Ant and Queen Ant.
All giant ants have the following abilities:
1. Armour - Type A (Chitin Exoskeleton): Giant ants have an external covering that provides a protective casing around their bodies. ADR 60.
2. Body Power (Antennae): Two antennae are attached to the head. These organs detect chemicals, air currents and vibrations (+5 Initiative); they are also used to transmit and receive signals through touch. Should the antennae be damaged from an attack (requires a special attack to hit), the giant ant will become effectively blind.
3. Heightened Senses (Enhanced Sense of Smell): Using their antennae, giant ants can instantly recognize the scent of ants from the same colony. Giant ants can also track by their sense of smell: make a tracking roll (based on the ant's Ferocity) on d20 per hour or else lose the trail. Modifiers: +2 if the trail has a sweet scent, -1 per hour that has past.
4. Wings (Optional): Most queens and male soldier ants have wings. It is known for queens to shed their wings after the nuptial flight leaving visible stubs behind. Maximum Speed 80 mph (352" air). PR 1/hour of flight.

Weight | Agility | Ferocity | Hits | Accuracy | Damage | Power | Movement |
840 lbs | 12 | 18 | 20 | +1 | 2d8 | 50 | 120" ground |
Giant soldier ants have the additional following abilities:
1. Larger Mandibles: The bite of a giant soldier ant does 2d8 damage.
2. Poison Stinger: Giant soldier ants have a poisonous stinger on their metasoma (aka their abdomens). The stinger does 3d10 damage with each hit. If successful HP damage is caused by the stinger, then the giant ant has released a poison into the victim's blood stream. For 1d3 turns thereafter, the victim must make an End Save (on d20) or else take an additional 1d10 damage from the poison with each failed roll.
Weight | Agility | Ferocity | Hits | Accuracy | Damage | Power | Movement |
1000 lbs | 10 | 20 | 18 | -- | 1d10 | 56 | 90" ground |
Giant queen ants have the additional following abilities:
1. Larger Mandibles: The bite of a giant queen ant does 1d10 damage.
2. Pheromones: The giant queen ant controls a whole colony through her pheromones. All members of the colony will obey the queen ant without question. A side effect of the queen's enhanced stature is her pheromones can now affect humans. She can spray a burst of these pheromones as an attempt at Mind Control. Range 4". PR 10 if successful.
2. Poisonous Spray (Formic Acid): The giant queen can spray a blast of formic acid at her target. Range 20", 2d10 Damage, PR 2/blast.
