Deep in the Amedio Jungle, the lines between human and crocodile have mingled producing the were-crocodile. These were-crocodiles are humans inflicted with a rare form of lycanthropy which enables them to take crocodile form when ever they choose, as long as it is in the water. They consider themselves the blessed of Wastri the Hopping Prophet and any with Intelligence of Very or greater may have additional Shaman levels.

The human form of the creature is virtually indistinguishable from that of a normal human, although a were-crocodile will be wiry, angular, tough, and savage. In crocodile form the creatures are huge (15 ft - 25 ft long) and resemble giant crocodiles. They are often in the company of normal crocodiles. They are capable of summoning and controlling 2-12 crocodiles.

Treasure can range from a few hundred coins to a considerable trove (such as type F). The were-crocodile lair will always be guarded by 2-5 normal crocodiles, whether or not the monster is personally present.
