WHERE TO START?
First, the Gamemaster needs to determine the setting of the Campaign. Will it be Logan's Run of the movies, or the books, or the TV series, or the comics, or some combination of any of these? CAMPAIGN IDEAS
The Sandman Campaign: The Player Characters are Sandmen who go about their daily duty of terminating Runners. They can experience trouble with Runners, Cubs, Gypsies or even other Sandmen (professional rivalry can be a killer?). Do the PCs turn against the system like Logan did? Do they remain faithful to their Duty? Perhaps the PCs get involved hunting a certain Sandman who decided to run.
The Runner Campaign: The Player Characters are ordinary citizens who have banded together to run. Lastday has came and went and now the PCs are Runners looking for Sanctuary. Can they find their way to freedom while dodging Sandman, Cubs, Gypsies and whatever else the GM throws at them?
The Metahuman Campaign: Deep below the Thinker's location in Cheyenne Mountain is a secret complex that harbours many strange experimentations. Humans were subject to bizarre experiments that granted them many weird and equally bizarre abilities, powers, and/or defects. Perhaps the PCs are one of these metahuman experiments who decide to escape their complex and see the real world for themselves. Perhaps these experiments were to be a new breed of Sandman but the Thinker could con control them properly. Who needs a Gun when one is the Gun.
